Day 12 Whole30

Good day to you all!

Yesterday the menu was like this:

B: Banana, as I had to run out early and then go food shopping

L: Ham, romaine lettuce, cucumber, sweet potato and 2 boiled eggs (I’d under boiled them so had to nuke them for a bit, they came out a bit rubbery n not that nice – but I still ate them!)


D: mince with grated carrot, onion and passata, boiled potatoes and broccoli

The last 2 nights I haven’t snacked at all after dinner. (as in nuts and apple) I kinda wanted to, probably from habit, but I didn’t need to. So I forced myself not to. Little Victories.

Just a little rant about daily life: I live opposite a school and it seems as though no matter what time I come home, people are picking kids up or dropping them off. I always avoid coming back after 2.00pm and before 3.30pm anyway, but now the last few days I’ve got home at around 11.25 ish and 12.30ish and my street is chocka and I can’t flaming pack anywhere. Reallllllly annoying!! On the plus side, when my little one starts school I wont have far to go!

The last 2 nights I haven’t snacked after dinner AT ALL. Last night I kinda wanted to, but I was full from dinner and didn’t need to, so I forced myself not to.

Sunny Sunday

Good morning.
It’s a beautiful day and I finally feel my old self.

I just had a big fat breakfast, homemade this time although james wanted to go to toby carvery haha.
Mmm it was delicious.
Eggs, bacon, sausages, sautéed potatoes,  mushrooms and I had one slice of toast. …hopefully my last as tomorrow is a NEW DAY.
(Diet wise)(and day wise)
Well, I hope so or I’ll sound like a right tw*t tomorrow haha!

I’ve decided to get back to watching ted talks,  youtube videos etc about low carb, why fat isnt the enemy and why I’m probably insulin resistant.

I need these reminders or I just give up and put a few pounds on until I snap out of it.

To be honest,  the breakfast was so yummy I really didn’t need the toast.

I’ve bought loads of veg and have written some of my meal plan for next week.

So, the stats
Start weight : 11.7, 72.9, 160.8
Today’s weight : 11.1, 70.4, 154.8
Total loss : 6lbs

Yay
I lost 4 lbs while I was ill which helped a lot.
I took advantage of not having much of an appetite and only had 2 meals a day fri and sat. (I ate nothing Thurs)
Sooo I need to keep my appetite curbed and not fall into the trap of eating constantly.

Since writing the above I did eat some jelly sweets and most of a small easter egg – because I knew tomorrow will be hard core. The stupid thing is I didn’t enjoy the easter egg at all. Booo. I did decline a birthday cupcake tho – willpower!

For dinner I made a roast chicken and made sure to have more veg,  cabbage,  carrot and broccoli.  Yum!

Well night night all. Lets hope I stick to what i said xx

Sunday breakfast

Hello!
I had an email a couple of days ago from Toby carvery to say they were open again after a refurb. (Its an English restaurant that mainly sells a roast dinner)

Sooooo, last night I was like ‘let’s go for breakfast in the morning’.
Yum yum couldn’t wait!
I had to wait though. .. I had an ocado shop coming between 9-10 and usually they arrive right at the beginning of the time slot or even early.  But not today when I want to go out haha!
Breakfast finishes at 10.30 on a Sunday so we had to get our skates on. As soon as I saw the van pull up I whipped henrys hat and coat on!!
This appears to be a blog promoting Toby carvery,  but £3.99 for an all you can eat breakfast is something to chat about!
Hahahaha as you can see I was excited.
Anyway,  it was delicious and easy (ish) to stay low carb.
I piled my plate high with bacon, eggs, sausage,  a potato rosti and a little potato hash.
No toast though that would have been bbaaaad!

So, stats:
Start weight : 11.7, 72.9, 160.8
Today’s weight : 11.4, 71.7, 158.0
Total loss : 3lbs, 1.2kg
Weight didn’t budge again.

Food:
B: giant all you can eat sausages bacon eggs etc.
L: i don’t need lunch haha. I had a couple pieces of turkey breast.
S: toast x 2
—- dont fret (but you can still tell me off)  it was low carb bread I ordered.  3g of carbs per slice! Really???!!! I can eat the whole loaf surely lol. It is wheat though so I will have to only buy this occasionally.
D: a hot dog and then errr 3 more slices of toast!  Aaah ok ok. I am bad.  I told you wheat was addictive!  Booo. They are only tiny slices though. ….but still.

Apart from that I’ve been good (define ‘good’ hee hee) I fancied something just now (9.15 pm) when I realised I’d barely touched any water since I had breakfast.  Naughty naughty. So am drinking my way through a litre before bed.

Will go to bed sooon then…..
